We’re so glad you are considering joining us for a Sunday service. We want you to feel welcome and be comfortable. From greeting you to serving you; we want to share God’s love in a very tangible way. To help prepare you for your visit, below are answers to a couple of Frequently Asked Questions. We can’t wait to meet you!
EXPECTATIONS
Sunday services at VGC are awesome times of gathering together to engage with God and one another, to be empowered by sound & applicable Bible teaching, and to enter in to the very best God has for your life. The service consists of: a moment of singing and worship, Bible teaching, an opportunity to give tithes and offerings, announcements, prayer, and a time to engage with one another after the service. Service runs for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

KIDS
We love kids! They are not only our future but an integral part of God’s kingdom right now (the Now Generation). Your kids will experience singing, prayer, interactive teachings, developmental activities, and of course lots of fun!

The classrooms are separated as follows:
  • 6 months to 4 years
  • 5 years to 9 years
  • 10 years to 12 years (Tweens) Meets every 2nd Sunday only
With our trained volunteers and safe environment we’re sure your kids will feel the love of God while having a great time!

MUSIC

We engage in a diverse selection of musical styles including contemporary Christian & gospel. Sounds similar to musical artist such as: Israel Houghton, Kari Jobe, Hillsong, Bethel Music, Every Nation Music, and Eddie James, are among some of our favorites.
Beyond the music, we strive to create an atmosphere that is both welcoming to the  Spirit of God, as well as inviting for those in attendance. During worship, you may see people lifting their hands or clapping as they sing, but all in a manner that isn’t distracting to those around them; this is truly a moment to connect with God in song.
ATTIRE
We are more concerned with you enjoying your experience, than you following a dress code. Feel free to wear what you would normally wear when meeting someone new. Most people will be dressed casually, while others will be dressed casual dressy/business casual.
Anything from Jeans and T-shirts to pencil skirts, blouses, collared shirts, and chinos.
