Our Vision
Valley Gate Church exists to be a church that makes disciples, honors God and advances His Kingdom

Our Mission

Engaging our community, establishing people in the faith, empowering disciples
with the message of Jesus Christ, and being a gateway that allows God’s people to
enter into a life worthy of His calling. (Acts 3:1-9; Ephesians 4:1)

Our Core Values

  • Collective Generosity
God’s greatest expression of love was expressed by the greatest gift He could give (His son Jesus Christ). We will be givers both personally and corporately.
  • Transformation
As followers of Christ it is impossible to remain the same. We value the transformative and redemptive power of God that conforms us more into the image of Christ.
  • Victorious Living
Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection from the grave defeated both sin and death. As those who have been united with Christ we refuse to live defeated lives.
Our Shared Values
While the core values of Valley Gate church set forth how we will live life, and do ministry, expressing the unique vision and mission God has ordained for VGC, as a member of a larger network of churches called Every Nation, we are committed to our shared corporate values.
  • Lordship (Luke 6:46)
  • Discipleship (Matthew 28:18-20)
  • Leadership Development (Matthew 10:1,
Mark 6:7; 12-13)
  • Spiritual Family (Acts 2:42-47)
  • Evangelism (Acts 1:8, Romans 10:11-15,
John 10:6, Philemon 6)
These core values knit us together with our broader Every Nation churches around the world.
Our Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.

Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father [and the Son]; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.

And we believe one apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
