Join us for our Back to School Drive, where every child can pick up free school supplies and head into the new year ready to learn, grow, and thrive.

What Is the Back to School Drive?

Back to school season is exciting, but for many families it can also be stressful. New notebooks, pencils, folders, and binders add up fast, and no child should walk into their first day of school feeling unprepared.

That's why our church in partnership with the Kina Harding Law Firm is hosting a Back to School Supply Drive, open to every child and family in our community and abroad.

Whether you're a longtime member of our congregation or this is your very first time visiting us, you are welcome here and so are your kids.

All supplies are completely free, available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Why We Do This

We believe that loving our neighbors isn't just something we talk about on Sundays, it's something we live out every day of the week. This Back to School Drive is one of the ways we get to show up for the families around us in a real, practical way.

Whether your child is starting kindergarten or heading into their senior year of high school, they matter to us. You matter to us. And we hope that walking away with a bag full of supplies feels like a reminder that this community has your back all year long.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our goal is to send every child home with the essentials they need to hit the ground running. Simply come in, pick up supplies for your child or children, and feel the love of a community that's rooting for every single student to have a great year.

Backpacks
Notebooks & composition books
Pencils, pens & crayons
Folders & binders
Scissors & glue sticks
Rulers & erasers
And more — based on availability!

FAQs

Do I need to be a church member to participate?
Absolutely not. This drive is open to all families.
Is there a limit on how many children I can bring?
There is no limit to how may kids you bring. It is important to note that we desire to serve all kids that are present that day. So please bring your children in person to receive supplies for each individual child.
What if supplies run out before I arrive?
Supplies are given on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited. We encourage you to arrive early to secure supplies for your children. If we run out we're sorry, but stay connected with us, as we may be able to point you to other local resources.
Can I donate supplies to the drive?
Yes! We gladly accept donations. Please contact us at socialmedia@valleygatechurch.org to find out what items are most needed.
