Thrust Statement:

- God is Holy

- To say that God is holy means there is no trace of evil in his character.

- We Have Been Called To Holiness (1 Peter 1:13-16)

Points:

1. Living For God (1 Peter 1:13-16)

Be Different

- When we live a life of holiness being set apart for God, we will no longer conform to the patterns and schemes of the world.

2. Revere and Fear God (1 Peter 1:17-21)

Respect God

- When we live a life of holiness; being set apart for God, it will be shown by our reverence and respect for Him.

3. Love Others (1 Peter 1:22-25)

Love Fervently (Sacrificially)

- When we live a life of holiness being set apart for God, we will love one another sincerely and fervently.

4. Desire His Word (1 Peter 2:1-3)

- When we live a life of holiness; being set apart for God, desiring His word will cause us to grow spiritually.
